Today, NetWork Kansas announced the hiring of Lea Ann Seiler as the Manager, Entrepreneurship, Southwest Region. In this role, Seiler will support the work of E-Community leadership teams to help advance and strengthen entrepreneurial ecosystems in Kansas' southwest region.

Three communities have been selected by NetWork Kansas to participate in its innovative Entrepreneurship (E-) Community Partnership. Cloud County, Franklin County, and Trego County were selected in the 2022 competitive process.

In her role, Miller will oversee 10 leadership teams in Southeast Kansas that include the following locations: Allen, Altamont, Anderson, Bourbon, Chautauqua, Cherokee, Girard, Linn, Montgomery and Neosho.
The Dane G. Hansen Foundation has awarded NetWork Kanas a grant that allows all 26 counties in the northwest region to have equal access to participate in the YEC Series, which will strengthen the entrepreneurial ecosystem and provide the region's youth with valuable knowledge and experiences.
The Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation recently announced $3 million in funding to the Kansas Center for Entrepreneurship DBA NetWork Kansas, a nonprofit organization dedicated to developing entrepreneurial ecosystems in Kansas by connecting entrepreneurs and small business owners to a network of business-building resources.
The YEC Series started as a grassroots competition in a school gymnasium in a tiny town in northwest Kansas. Over the years, those grassroots spread and now 1,000 students across the state from communities of all sizes participate in a unified championship series, connecting all of Kansas through youth entrepreneurship.
The Kansas Center for Entrepreneurship DBA NetWork Kansas is launching a $150,000 microloan fund to support entrepreneurs in Wyandotte County called the Empower WYCO Fund. The fund will be overseen by a multi-partner collaborative in the Kansas City, KS-area.
