2021 Kansas Entrepreneurship Challenge Update

State Championship Overview

The first place business idea at each local YEC Series competition qualifies to compete at the KEC State Championship hosted by the Kansas State University Center for the Advancement of Entrepreneurship, sponsored by the Kansas Masonic Foundation. Up to 15 wildcard slots may also be filled through the Executive Summary Open Review. These young entrepreneurs will face off in Manhattan to compete for prize money, gain support for their ideas, and meet other passionate young entrepreneurs.

The Kansas State University Center for the Advancement of Entrepreneurship is the sole organizer and host of the Kansas Entrepreneurship Challenge. The winners of each local YEC Series event have qualified for to compete at this event.

The state championship is held in Manhattan, Kansas
Over $36,000 in prize money
Winner of each YEC series event + up to best 15 wildcard Executive Summaries
Executive summary & mock board room + separate tradeshow competition
