NetWork Kansas Welcomes Bailee Henry to
Entrepreneurship (E-) Community Partnership Team
Today, NetWork Kansas announced the hiring of Bailee Henry, who joins the staff as Product Manager, E-Community Programs. In her role, Henry will oversee and manage the work of the Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge (YEC) Series among other responsibilities.
I am beyond excited to join the NetWork Kansas team, assisting in the implementation of Board Certified Programs, Henry said. NetWork Kansas is a premier partner in economic development across the state with its loan funding, referral center, programs, partnerships and expertise. It is humbling to be a part of such an impactful organization across the state of Kansas.
Henrys professional experience includes working at the Wabaunsee County Economic Development Office as well as the Manhattan Area Chamber of Commerce. She holds a Bachelors Degree in Kinesiology from Kansas State University with an emphasis in Public Health.
In her roles with the Manhattan Chamber of Commerce and interning with Wabaunsee County Economic Development, she has gained a wealth of E-Community experience, said Amara Kniep, Manager, E-Community Programs, about Henry. Bailee is very familiar with NetWork Kansas and has implemented several of our programs in her previous roles. Her attention-to-detail and entrepreneurial spirit will be valuable and helpful to E-Communities wanting to implement programs.
Henry, who resides in Manhattan, has helped judge the Kansas Entrepreneurship Challenge (KEC) as well as the Kansas Youth Virtual Entrepreneurship Challenge, held through VentureDash. In its first year post-launch, VentureDash was the platform of choice for 87 competitions with 1,710 entrepreneur participants, 625 judges and 107 mentors.
With the increased demand for VentureDash, new product development and other E-Community initiatives, I felt it was important to staff for these opportunities, said Erik Pedersen, Vice President of Entrepreneurship for NetWork Kansas. At the same time, I knew we must maintain the tremendous impact our technical assistance efforts are making for Kansas entrepreneurs. We are excited to have Bailee join us to oversee the day-to-day activities of our board certified programs.
